A Few Examples Of Homeopathic Treatment

Here are some simple examples of the homeopathic method of treatment with similars:

  1. A person with a tendency to get hives that become red, hot, swollen, and itchy may respond to a homeopathic remedy called Apis, which is derived from the honeybee. The similarity here is that the bee can cause similar symptoms when stinging someone.
  2. A pregnant woman with strong nausea may respond well to the homeopathic remedy called Ipecac, which is a plant used in conventional medicine in higher concentrations to induce nausea and vomiting in cases of accidental poisoning.
  3. A person with allergies who reacts to a variety of environmental factors by getting itchy blisters on the skin may be treated with a homeopathic remedy called Rhus toxicodendron, which is a very diluted form of poison ivy.

Some examples of some more complicated health problems are:

  1. A homeopathic medicine called Stramonium may be very helpful in treating an aggressive child who is also terrified to be alone at night, and has a fear of bathing and getting water on his head.
  2. A patient that complains of indigestion, craving for coffee, low back pain, and constipation may respond well to a homeopathic remedy called Nux vomica.
  3. A depressed person who complains of sleep difficulty, a feeling of failure, and chronic sinus infections may respond nicely to a remedy called Aurum.

(We do not advise that you try to do this on your own at home as these are meant only as examples. Actual case analysis and treatment can involve a variety of complex decisions.)
